该文指出城市滨水区开发是滨水城市规划研究中的热点问题 ,从城市游憩功能开发的角度 ,提出城市滨水区开发的基本原则。以武汉市为例 ,在重点论述汉口外滩、汉阳南岸嘴和武昌东湖三个滨水区游憩功能开发的基础上 ,提出以滨水区建设为中心的武汉市旅游发展战略
Abstract：The development and management of urban waterfront tourism/recreational spaces are of great interest and significance focuses in urban planning studies. The authors suggested several principles based on reviewing other literatures and field works of waterfront planning and tourism programming for future projects and researches. With a case study of urban waterfront development in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, the authors told a real story about how to employ above principles into developing and managing city waterfront spaces into tourism and recreation utilities in China.
