农旅融合发展对农业碳排放强度的影响机制

摘要:

在产业融合与农业农村现代化背景下,旅游业与农业关系日益密切,推进农旅深度融合既可赋能农业现代化发展,亦能为农业碳减排提供创新思路与实操方案。基于2010—2023全国30个省域的面板数据,引入双重机器学习考察农业与旅游产业融合进程作用于农业碳排放强度的内在机制。结果表明:(1)农旅融合发展显著抑制农业碳排放强度,农旅融合发展水平每提升1%,农业碳排放强度将降低0.170%;(2)异质性分析表明,农旅融合在抑制东部与西部地区农业碳排放强度方面呈现更突出的区域优势,且在非粮食主产区、环境规制较弱省域效果更显著;(3)机制分析显示,农旅融合借助绿色技术创新与产业结构升级渠道发挥减排作用,降低农业碳排放强度,同时还受旅游产业集聚的正向调节作用。本文可为促进旅游业可持续发展和低碳农业进程、推动产业融合、助力我国“双碳”目标实现提供科学支撑。

Abstract:

Against the backdrop of industrial integration and agricultural modernization, the relationship between tourism and agriculture has grown increasingly intertwined.The integrated development of agriculture and tourism not only serves as a vital driver for advancing agricultural modernization but also offers novel approaches and practical solutions for agricultural carbon reduction.Based on panel data from 30 provincial-level regions in China from 2010 to 2023,this paper employs the double machine learning model to investigate the mechanisms through which the integrated development of agriculture and tourism affects agricultural carbon emission intensity.The findings are as follows.(1) The integrated growth of agriculture and tourism significantly reduces agricultural carbon emission intensity, with a 1% increase in integration level leading to a 0.170% decrease in carbon intensity(2) Heterogeneity analysis further reveals that integrated development of agriculture and tourism demonstrates more pronounced regional advantages in suppressing agricultural carbon emission intensity in eastern and western regions, with more significant effects in non-major grain-producing areas and provincial-level regions with weaker environmental regulations.(3) Mechanism analysis indicates that integrated development of agriculture and tourism further suppresses agricultural carbon emission intensity by promoting green technological innovation and industrial structure upgrading, while also receiving positive regulation from tourism industry agglomeration.This study provides scientific support for promoting sustainable tourism development, advancing low-carbon agriculture, facilitating industrial integration, and contributing to China′s "dual carbon" goals.
